I've led multidisciplinary design teams and love hearing the excitement in others when creating a product. I care deeply about the people and teams I lead, our creative work together, and how we might improve the world, one interaction at a time.

Being Sr. Staff, coach, facilitator, and king ice breaker, I respect the knowledge and the expertise of the people in their businesses and we support them by challenging them and providing them with processes, tools, and the context to explore problems and generate solutions together.

Improve our skills

We don’t design on our own. We partner with Product and Engineering to discover and co-create opportunities for innovation. We are coaches and facilitators. We respect the knowledge and expertise of the people in their own businesses. We support by challenging and providing them with processes, tools, and the context to explore problems and generate solutions together. 

I regularly participate with the Design, Engineering, and Product leadership on planning, road mapping, business reviews, and coordinate prioritization.

Recruit and retain talent

I try to look for people who have training as designers with in-depth craft and a strategic mindset. People who can understand user experience and innovation. Ideal candidates are self-starters who collaborate across functions. In building a culture, I want people who are open-minded and have experience working on projects outside the Design department.
